Hello Readers!
I woke up to temperatures so cool this week, that I slipped a sweatshirt on before my morning sun gazing session. This is not the norm for New Jersey, and I felt a small ripple of frustration that the end of summer was cosplaying as autumn so suddenly.
The end of summer means the end of flip flops piled at my side door. It means the end of wet pool towels left in a heap, cars parked bumper to bumper in the drive, late night runs to Michael’s for craft supplies, and a dining room filled with a random collection of housewares for college and post-college life.
Last week, in a feat involving planes, u-hauls, and automobiles and a lot less sleep than we all needed, we managed to move our two youngest kids out of state within a few days of each other. Rachel kindly came home to watch the dog for us, making this an all-hands-on-deck family affair.
